Sahwa Net - The Yemeni Child Parliament has demanded the U.S. administration and congress to ratify the Untied Nations' Convention on the Rights of the Child, expressing astonishment as it has not ratified the convention so far.

"We appreciate that the United States is a democratic state in which human rights are respected, but it is amazing and controversial that it has not singed the convention so far," it added in a letter sent to the U.S. Congress spokeswoman.
